Ya know when you’re just having one of those days that seems like everything is going wrong and everyone is out to get you? I had one of those days earlier this week and I’m glad to say that I didn’t let that petty crap get to me.
What triggered this post was me being stranded on the side of the freeway the other day. Luckily, it was easy to just whip out my phone and get a towing service in Monrovia out to me. The dude that came out was super cool to, so that sorta made my day better that I didn’t have to deal with some weirdo for thirty minutes. Anyways, I’m getting off track.
In life, not every day is going to be all rainbows and roses. Most days are going to be really, really tough. I’m glad that as I read and learn more about life that I become more aware and conscious of this. It’s funny how some people are super woe is me, life is so unfair, and other people are like, let’s rock, let’s go, let’s tear this up! haha.
There’s just those two types of people in the world. I would suggest that you take the side of being responsible for your life and any actions, good or bad, that happen to you so you can take charge of your life, so you can be in control. Because if you’re going to be the type of person that mopes around, whines about their problems and how they have it so hard, they’re going to have a terrible life. Simple as that.
So quick recap. Don’t feel sorry for yourself. Take responsibility for anything that happens in your life, good or bad.
As I’m trying to build my jewelry business it’s important to mimic and do the things that other successful people do. And successful people don’t pity themselves or get all sad and crap when they’re faced with just a little bit of tough times. What do successful people do when they get into rough water? They hustle, they focus, they take tons of action and they just keep charging forward until they get through the storm and into nice calm water and clear blue skies.
This post is super ranty but the value in it is the message of take responsibility for your life and you will realize more things are in your control than you think. This is a big thing I learned from Grant Cardone and I love hearing it over and over again because it’s that important. So here’s a video of Grant talking about taking responsibility.
